Nice sketchbook
This sketchbook has paper that is a decent thickness. My kids have been using it for painting and chalk markers, and it works pretty well for both of those. It’s bigger than I thought it would be (but I didn’t bother to look at the dimensions, I just needed a sketchbook). The one thing I do no like about it is that the pages are not perforated, so every time I tear a page off for my kids, there are just little white pieces of paper everywhere. If you plan on leaving all the pages intact, then this would be a perfect sketchbook.

A decent sketch book for kids
It’s a pad of 100 blank pages and the sketchbook in total is $10. That’s perfect for any kid who likes to draw – full stop. And the cover art is downright adorable. But if you want to get down to the nitty gritty – this is definitely paper for sketching. Light to mid-weight and bright white, you can see graphite marks from a mile away. Also manages crayon really well. Marker bleeds through for several pages. But for the young artist, I think this is perfect.

Cute cover and nice paper!
I think this is a great sketch pad for kids or even adults. I used it to sketch out an idea for a small watercolor painting and it took the ink of my trusty carbon ink pen that I have been using for years. This is meant for sketching or drawing and is too thin for watercolor itself. It does have a bit of fine texture to it. It is smooth, but not like printer paper. The color is an off white.Great set for kids using pencil, colored pencil, gel pens, ink, or crayons. A little on the thin side for juicy markers. We have a kiddo going to kindergarten soon and I know there will be a lot of birthday parties in the next yearâ¦. I have a big box of art supplies to use as gifts. This is perfect for that along with some nice glitter gel pens. I like the tear out sheets. I would purchase this again!

wow
Wow, this was a lot nicer than I was expecting! The cute toddler-looking cover made me think it’d be toddler-grade paper, but this is nicer sketch-pad paper, on par with the kind made for youth artists. The spiral binding is similarly good. And all with a cute front! I’m really pleased. My only caution would be to check prices with competitor student-artist sketch pads, as they are prone to go on steep sales.

Good for a Kid’s Sketchbook
Not bad for a kid’s sketchbook. Good for light sketching, provided you don’t lean too hard on the old eraser or planning out more elaborate works. It’s fine, that’s really the most I can say.
