    Good Story
Loved this book. It is a fast read and a page turner. Jane and Jimmy are enjoyable characters who work well with each other. Looking forward to the next book.

  2. Becky in Kona

    Only ok
I think if its not written by Patterson only I am not going to buy it anymore, except for the NYPD series. The title refers to the lawyer only living 12 months and really does not have anything to do with the guy she is defending. The main plot is good but beware it kind of leaves you hangin at the end (I dont want to give anything away). The sub-plot gets pretty muddled and hard to follow until the end which made the story slow and hard to read.

    Strange
I very different kind of story from Patterson. I found it to be strange but I kept coming back and reading more. After I finished and thought about it I decided I liked it.

As always Patterson delivers , a read read hooked from the start. Full of twists and turns right up to the end

Just finished last night. Whilst it was a good story in total, I could tell which parts were written by Patterson and which parts were ghost written. He “had” his own style and mass producing these books is starting to tell.Hey, that’s my opinion, but I’m not a recognised critic….

  7. Dr. Tim Parker

I like these out-of-series books by Patterson and coauthors, as they establish new characters and plot mechanisms that don’t fit in other series. This one, though, was a slightly mixed bag for me. I enjoyed the story and the narrative, which is different from most other Patterson books, but I found it not quite as gripping as some of his other books. It’s still enjoyable, and a good read, but it just didn’t grab me as much as I had hoped. Still, an interesting story to enjoy.

  8. A. W. Wilson

As per usual – very easy to read – short punchy chapters – Tough macho characters with dialogue to match. A real sense of “did he or didn’t he?” and honestly I enjoyed it though I do feel the ending to be diapointing (hope that isn’t a “spoiler”). Would I read another Jane Smith novel….Probably!
