    A short yet excellent read
This book was an allegory of dictatorships. It is scary and eerie to see how easy it is to deceive people. I see it all too frequently nowadays with the information super highway. People believe almost anything.

    great books
Timeless classics. Enjoyed thoroughly. How foreshadowing of the world we may be heading into today. For anyone who reads these stories, reflect carefully on how we may avoid this kind of future. A literary classic that is eerily reminiscent of where we are today if we do not safeguard ourselves against the kind of thought.

  3. Robert Zimmermann

Classics of English Literature, but really a poor rendition
5 stars for content, but for 35 cents you are getting a scan of the books’ text. There are random line breaks and missing line break (especially in the middle of conversations) that make reading difficult.

    Orwell’s allegorical novel of revolution.
The first time that I read this was around 1981, a few years prior to the fall of the USSR. It is fascinating to see how the trajectory of the animal Utopia mirrored that of the Soviet Union. Is this still required reading? It should be,

    An interesting read
1984 was what I expected but I was fooled by the Animal Farm plot. Having not read either before I was pleasantly surprised. Worthwhile reading of the old classics.

    Great story and timeless!
George Orwell shows us that very little changes. Political, satirical, allegorical, entertaining and sadly, rings true. Always a good author to read
