    Christian fiction
Definitely rom-com, which is not my style. It is well-written.

    What a fun ride!
I really enjoyed this book. This genre for sure is not one I would generally pick up and read off of the shelf, but after 3 or so short stories and now 2 books from Becca Kinzer, I have figured out why I enjoy her writing so much. Becca does a great job of mixing nostalgia with originality, and personal flavor with familiarity. It’s like starting a movie you aren’t sure about, only to find yourself waiting until after the credits so you don’t miss anything else that might appear. “Love in Tandem” has a set up so ridiculous that I found myself actually laughing about, as the scenes played out. Things are so messy and tangled that you can’t wait to see how all the knots come undone. It takes the best possible turns in places and ways I didn’t expect. It didn’t make me cry like “Dear Henry, Love Edith”… although I did tear up in chapter 54. And maybe a little bit in 56. I didn’t enjoy everything though, don’t worry, I have one complaint. The use of the word “Pop” in reference to soda. It hurt my brain. All in all, I recommend it to anyone that reads this genre, or doesn’t. It will take your mind someplace new, someplace old, leave you feeling good, and also wanting more.

This is my FIRST Becca Kinzer book and wow! Can’t wait to read more.
You will feel for Charlotte and all that is happening in her life. Then you’ll meet Zach and feel for him and what he has gone through and then they meet. You’ll be laughing and rolling your eyes at all the adventures that surround these two from beginning to end. What an enjoyable, fantastic read!

    Loved this book!
Becca has written another amazing book. Hilarious, touching, with great plot twists, romance, and a good Christian message. I wish she had 20 more books I xould read!

    Love story or religious innuendo?
How can a beautiful love story end so poorly?
