    Great book.
Insightful read for my daughter and her research paper.

    Mom says….good book!
I ordered this for my elderly mother who still likes to read, but struggles sometimes. She had no issues reading this book, and in fact, read excerpts to me that she found especially interesting. As soon as I have time, I will read it also.

    Full of info!
I used this for my project and it was great! Lots of facts and info about her life!

    Excellent
I really enjoyed this book, as Rosa Parks herself was involved in its writing. I’m from the French West Indian island of Guadeloupe, so I wasn’t taught the history of Mrs. Parks as a youngster, and my knowledge of the history of African Americans derived mostly from reading books about the subject. I found this book really easy to read plus it allowed me to gain accurate and deep understanding of what African Americans had to go through in Montgomery at the time, the difficulties Mrs. Parks had to face and the risks she was willing to take to fight against segregation. One thing I really appreciated is that she doesn’t try to oppose Black Americans to White Americans, she bore no grudge against white America despite all she had to go through. That really made her special to me. It’s up to mankind to put an end to war, suffering, abuse, discrimination… against mankind.

Simple, enjoyable read from Rosa’s perspective.
Received the order in a timely fashion.. loved the book. I have known about Rosa Parks all of my life and recently read 7 Women by Eric Metaxas in which he honors her story. After that book (which was excellent, by the way), I had to read more about Rosa Parks and “Rosa Parks My Story” was recommended. It is not written as a professional artist/author would write but she tells her story infinitely better. The authors are not attempting to persuade the reader merely informing of what happened, from her perspective, in a time of uncertainty and why it happened as it did, again from her perspective.

Good reading for my 4th grader
My daughter read this book and made a wax museum project for school. It was really good to bring awareness to her of the struggles black Americans had/have still in some regions of the USA.
