Simply Wonderful
 I gave this as a birthday gift to my three year-old daughter and she absolutely loved it! The illustrations are great and the story is sweet and very heart-felt. I really liked reading this book to my daughter because it was very sweet and touching, but not sooooo touching that I started crying which is sometimes the case with children’s books! This was perfect 🙂 Highly recommend!Update: my six year-old daughter Bailey has started reading the book herself and loves it! She asked if she could do a “Reading Rainbow” style review, video included here :).

Such a beautiful story that can read over and over again
What a BRILLIANTLY written book! This story is reminiscent of a mother’s deep love for her child. The rhyming pages send such sweet messages to the reader. The illustrations represent the tranquility of her heart while reflecting on her feelings for the light the baby sheds on her life. Highly recommend this beautiful read for a mother and child to share their moments together.

These pages are filled with the joy and love of being a parent. Each rhyming thought touches on exactly how I feel about my children, just expressed more eloquently. I love that there’s music for this to be sung to, as well.”If You Were The Moon, My Love” puts me in the mind of a less confrontational “Runaway Bunny” – the mother (or other loving adult) tells how they would celebrate their child in any form, a mountain, a dream, a garden, and more.The illustrations are beautiful. Detailed but not fussy, and use deep, vibrant colors that perfectly reflect the joyful words. My 6 year old thought they were pretty, and especially liked the page where the figure is riding a whale across the ocean. She also liked pointing out how the garden stepping stones matched the pictures on the other pages, too.I look forward to purchasing a physical copy of the book along with my ebook. I attempted to read the ebook to my almost 2year old but she just grabbed the e-reader instead of looking at the story. Once I can sit down with pages she can turn herself I know she will love the colors and the rhyming rhythm. I know this will be a treasured bedtime story.

A warm, peaceful lullaby with a diverse and positive message!
There’s really a lot to like about this. The rhyme / song follows a comfortable pattern and pace throughout the book, while each page presents a wide variety of imaginative “if” scenarios. And each of those scenarios do a wonderful job of featuring simple, familiar objects, animals and settings, and pairing them with positive, loving comparisons to the child you’re reading to. The end of the book (spoiler alert! 🙂 brings the message home with the conclusion that the child is beautiful and ideal, inside and out, just the way she or he is. The song adds a creative dimension, providing a new way to experience and share the book. Highly recommended!

Beyond the Moon Amazing
This was such a sweet book. I read it out loud to my son & my 2 nieces before bed & it brought tears to my eyes. I love them all so much & there is never too many ways to say it or ever enough. I will surely read this one again.

Great for bedtime routine
This sweet book is a lovely lullaby that would make for a great bedtime routine for little ones.It shows a parent connecting beautiful aspects of nature to the depth of love they have for their child, but also reminding the child that they are loved just the way you are.
