The perfect summer read/ good standalone book also
I loooooveeee all Freida McFadden books and this set was no exception! However give this book 3 stars because while the plot is intriguing and the characters are well-developed, I loved seeing what life married to Enzo is like but I found some parts of the story to be predictable and the pacing a bit slow at times. It felt like in some areas it dragged and I was anticipating a “The Shock”However, Freida’s writing style is soooooo engaging and the suspense the second guesses maintained throughout the book! This is by far a decent read for fans that love mystery and suspense.

Well another Freida McFadden book shelved as read! Book 3 of the trilogy did not disappoint. It was fast paced and it had some crazy moments, especially in the second half of the book. It was very entertaining and that’s what I look for in a book. It wasn’t as thrilleresk (I know that’s not a word but I couldn’t think of one to use) as some of McFadden’s books are but enjoyable none the less. I gave this book a 4 star rating.

This book had a different feel compared to the first 2 books in the series, it was somehow more ‘grown up’. However it was still extremely well written and enjoyable, and everything tied in perfectly at the end with a great finale.

Spoiler free review.WOW! just WOW!!From the beginning I was extremely surprised and did not expect what we were introduced to, but I was extremely happy with it as well.It was absolutely brilliant trying to figure out what Millie was going to end up involved with this time round as she always finds herself in situations like the first two books, but I was surprised by this one.The whole book was brilliant, kept me guessing which is what I liked about the first two, but the introduction of a few new characters was good as well, but I was really surprised by the return of some old characters as well, even the mention of old characters was perfect. From chapter 58 onwards I was shocked to be honest, and the last chapter (epilogue) definitely surprised me, but it was written amazingly and I was drawn in even more than I was with the rest of the book.I really shouldn’t be surprised anymore with one of @fmcfaddenauthor books, but I was genuinely surprised and shocked with this one, but I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it ð.If you have read the first two books and haven’t got this yet, you definitely need to get it, or maybe sweet talk a family member or friend in to getting you a copy ð.
