Great summer read light but with great depth
Grisham never ceases to please me no matter what location or topic. This one takes place in a small island off the coast, and the cast of characters is magical with a wonderful historical novel winding through. Could not wait to read this book every night and savor it for the next day. Lovely was a heroic brave character to be remembered with her quest for saving the burial ground of her forefathers and her land.

Captivating. Best Of Grisham In Recent Times.
The Best By Grisham in Recent Times. With His Exceptional Story Telling Abilities Grisham Keeps You Glued To The Book Till You Have Read The Last Page. This is Not Just A Legal Thriller, But A Combination of It With Historical Fiction and Human Drama. My Eyes Were Moist While Reading the Last Chapters. By the Time We Finish Reading ItWe Are Bound To Fall In Love With All The Central Characters of The Book, Especially With Lovely Jackson. Yes Grisham, Named Her Lovely For A Reason. She Will Haunt Us For Sure For Couple of Days. This is His Third Book Of The Camino Island Series And The Best Of The Three In My Opinion. The Central Characters of The Story Bay Books Owner Bruce Cable & Budding Author Mercer Mann Takes The Central Stage Again. The Subplots Does Deal with Legal Battles and The Book Publishing Industry Again With Most of The Camino Island Folks Appearing Once Again. However The Main Plot – The Last Of The Descendants and An Octogenarian’s Fight To Preserve The Graves Of Her African Ancestors Who Were Brought Into America As Slaves in 1700s who along with Escaped Slaves Survive To Setup A Colony For Themselves and Lived and Died On An Island Called Dark Isle Without Any Interaction With The Outside World – Is Really Captivating.Grisham Proves Again Why He Is A Master Story Teller. Under the Guise of a Legal Thriller, With his Exceptional Writing Skills He Not Only Keeps The Readers Interested All Through The Book But also makes them more Knowledgeable to give lot of thought On Many Topics Like Slavery, Explosion Of Commercial Developments and Their Influence On Political and Legal Systems, Non Profit Agencies Work and Book Publishing Industry etc.,There Is A Lot More.. If You Are Grisham Fan Like Me, Grab A Copy And Start Reading. If Not, Then Also.. Grab A Copy And Start Reading. You Will Become One.

Love This Camino Island Series!
Grisham does not disappoint. Another masterful tale of life on Camino Island and its delightful characters. Lovely is esteemed above them all and wins the story. At the end, one cannot help but shed tears. Thank you John, for drawing us all into this tale of justice delayed but rightly won. Loved the characters and the story. It is a great read for a summer beach trip anywhere! I have read everything John Grisham has written and have always been amazed at his skill at drawing the reader into the story. I felt like I was there on Camino and could relate to each character. Buy this book!

Brilliant!!
John Grisham expertly breathes life into an all too real look into a very dark time in history. Everyone should read Camino Ghosts and learn of the horrors that existed during the time of the slave trades. While the book is fiction he makes the story very real.

An exceptional story
The Camino series books are exceptional in their plot and storytelling, fast pace reading and grand finalle. Camino Ghosts follows the same structure and hits you since the beginning with the story of Lovely, the last descendent of slave Africans that lived for centuries in a little island near Florida, an island that is now under the scope of wealthy entrepreneurs that want to change it to another resort et al. The way the story is unrolling throughout the book, very Grisham style, leaves you at the end with not only a wonderful feeling of justice but also with the dream to be part of the Camino island community.

As expected, this book was a pleasurable romp. A quick and easy read, jam-packed with David vs Goliath sentiment and colorful characters. Even though I have a pretty good idea of what to expect all the way through, it’s still thrilling to have it all unfold. Brilliant, as usual.
