    Never say never
Ahhh another book by Abby!I was really excited to get this one because Liam was in her previous story and I knew he needed some love in his life especially after being in the military. This story pulled at my heart strings. I cried, laughed and fell apart with these characters. Abby is such a talented author and truly has a way of getting the emotions on paper. The emotions were presented so perfectly it’s insane. (Tiny spoiler) At one point a character has a panic attack and the writing was done so accurately and well that I felt myself go into one as well (spoilerish over). This story brings such much light on what our military men and women go through when they come home and I hope they all have someone like Sean in their corner. Speaking of Sean we also get more of Jess and Sean (characters from the previous book, I have a review for it on my page)! The small references from previous books were perfect and made me excited to spot them.”Why are we taking two steps forward and 10 steps back?” This line from the book is so perfect in describing what the healing process is like. It’s what makes healing so hard. Its not always forward but sometimes a zig zag loopty loop. Finding the right people to be in your corner like Liam has is such an important thing. Don’t give up on yourself.Again the emotions and real reactions people would have in this situation was my favorite part. Her mom probably remembered what she was like when he left and wanted to protect her, sister remembered how happy Penny once was andAndrew is a real sweetie though and it made my heart hurt more.Rick being mentioned made me beyond excited and I absolutely cannot wait for the next story for Evie and Jamie since it’s been hinted at for so long. Again Abby is an amazing author and you should read ALL of her sweet and beautiful stories! This is a standalone series but it is absolutely better if read in order.Oh and there is an absolutely cute puppy named Tex and hopefully an adult/kid survival camp called Zombie Apocalypse Survival Camp in the future.

    Second Chances & Sweet Kisses
This book has many hard topics mixed with sweet memories and even sweeter kisses. It is a closed-door, second-chance, childhood best friends, retired military with severe PTSD, a runaway bride, family trauma, a bit of drama, and a super sweet & smart German Shepherd emotional support dog. Liam is still dealing with the nightmares from his military service and thinks he’s a broken, irreparable man. Penny just wants to show him that she’ll stay by his side while he heals. The book starts with a runaway bride and a rescue and ends with a happily ever after. I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next sibling finding love.

    Penelope and Liam
Liam and Penelope meet on the day of her wedding. She ended up getting saved by him. They take time to get to know each other again. I liked seeing growth and options for soldiers who needed help to come home mentally as well as physically. I really liked the dog. I will read more by this author and in this series.

Loved this story of Liam and Penny. When you get a second chance – do you grab it by the horns or do let it pass you by? Definite must read of the second of this series. Looking forward to reading more of Abby’s future work.

This is a sweet and feel good clean romance, with those small town and cosy vibes. This time it follows Penny and Liam, as they have an unexpected and dramatic reunion, and reconnect their past chemistry. Penny feels guilt over jilting her fiance and her conflicting feelings, and Liam needs a chance to heal and find himself again before considering love. Their paths collide and show maybe it’s fate pushing them together, and that they both deserve this second chance at happyness.
