   Hawking’s Great Presentation.
   Hawking takes a good stab at trying to present thoughts on a very complicated and complex topic. While some of the content was difficult to completely digest, much of it made excellent sense to me. I was especially taken with the author’s attempt to bring humor into his explanations. A surprisingly good read.

   I had not read this when it was published in 1988, and assumed it was a coffee-table book that everyone bought but no-one actually read.Instead I found it well-written, explaining concepts in modern cosmology well to a lay readership – or at least to one with a basic grasp of science.This edition was updated in 2017 to include recent discoveries.

   Livro muito bom. O conteúdo porém é bem denso, indico para quem já possui um conhecimento básico de física moderna. Mas tudo é bem explicado com uma boa didática. O inglês britânico também é bem característico, se for acostumado com inglês americano pode ter alguma dificuldade no vocabulário, mas nada impeditivo.
