Not the best in the series
I had so looked forward to this title! I don’t know if she tried to bring in too many story lines or what, but it took forever, for anything to happen – even with a murder at the beginning. I did figure out who did it, but not until near the end. I don’t know, this one just didn’t grab me as the others did. Our familiar pals from earlier titles were hardly in it .

All of the books in this series are very good indeed, including this one. Julia’s now-gay husband is marrying his partner, and she and their daughter approve and want to help. But when a murder occurs on the evening of the wedding, any one of several people might have done it, including one of the two husbands. Julia sets out to clear his name, but then there is a second murder, which seems unrelated to the first. But there must be a connection surely? The characters in this series continue to develop. The storyline may not be quite as credible or interesting, but very good reading anyway.
