   Lost In Fiction – August 11, 2024

   Another great read
   They just keep getting better. Chet was tip-top in this fast-paced story that highlighted not only the crime-solving skill of Chet and Bernie, but Bernie’s innate goodness. I had a hard time putting this book down, and like all of the Chet and Bernie series, it was over too soon. Highly recommended.

   Quinn has done it again!
   Every time I read a new Chet and Bernie book I start out worrying that it may not be as good as the others. Sort of like every time I go see Cirque du Soleil, or go shopping for a Christmas tree and wonder if I will find the right one. Yet once again, as with Cirque and the Christmas trees, I was rewarded with a thoroughly entertaining and touching tale (tail?) told by the best narrator in the business! I love Chet as much as he loves Bernie =o]

   A Farewell to Arfs by Spencer Quinn A mystery with a intriguing premise that takes place in the AI era. Bernie’s canine companion, Chet, constantly has a different take on the crime and its perpetrators, offering a hilarious yet realistic assessment of the circumstances and his thoughts on human limitations. A delightful, entertaining and enjoyable book.Thank you to the author, publisher, and Netgalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

   Twists and Turns with Bernie and Chet
   This story had more twists and turns than exist on Wolf Creek Pass, CO! Bad guys, poker games, tricky trails in the desert mountains, a broken romance, opulent mansions and tiny little Casitas all rounded up and put back together by our dog hero, Chet with help from Bernie and Weatherly!
