Loving the enemy
I thoroughly enjoyed this Regency romance with great characters, romance and intrigue. She was the daughter of a Baron who did horse racing. They were enemies with another Baron who also did horse racing. She was being pushed by her family to marry a viscount, but she was resisting. Then she met the heir to the other family and they fell foe each ither . There were lots of complications, but she was able to get both families to agree to their marriage. The ending was great. I enjoyed the Epilogues. I voluntarily reviewed an advance review copy.

Lovely story to read with a happy ending
Nice romance. They had met before but due to their fathers rivalry, they avoided each other. They meet at a masquerade ball and are instantly attracted to each other and spend an enjoyable time dancing and talking to each other not knowing who they are with. They like the same things and are a perfect match until they realize that they are with the child of their fathers rival. Their families hate each other and are bitter rivals and will never agree to a match between them. However, they cannot seem to stay away from each other. Finally love prevails and the story has a happy ending.

This was an excellent piece with great characters. Bridget and Walter who meet unexpectedly will try to fight the attraction but fate has other ideas. The road does have its bumps along the way it also is a bit twisty but that made for a thrilling read. I really liked the book and I am happy to recommend it.

Bridget Dean has a wild spirit but also a logical streak. However, upon meeting a gentleman at a masquerade ball she realizes that true passion was missing from her courtship with Lord Cantrell. Unfortunately, the gentleman she had met and kissed was none other than the heir of her family’s rival from their long held feud, Walter Hanley. Get ready to enjoy the trials these two lovebirds must endure in their quest for happiness. A very enjoyable book.

The two protagonists in this lovely story (Bridget and Walter) belong to warring families. They are both horse lovers who are falling in love even though their families would surely not accept a union. They keep sneaking away to meet. In the meantime, two other people get tangled up in their love story. Will Bridget win the race disguised as Walter?A very beautifully written story. I could not put it down till I reached the end.

This is another extremely riveting story that you will find very captivating. This plot which gets a bit steamy towards the end, has some brilliant characters, with the main two having to overcome feuding families and blackmailing siblings. I love the extended epilogue which completes their stories and gives you a glimpse into their future lives. I read an ARC copy.
