Cute book!
Got this for 2 different couples that are engineers. They love it!

Grows with your child!
We gave this to our 1 year old grandson. Our son, an engineer, was thrilled! It is a board book perfect for the 1 – 2 year old to look at the pictures. Then there are simple explanations for the 3-5 year old and finally, detailed concepts explained for the 6-8 year old. It truly “grows” with your child.

Love it, but…
We got this for our son to go with the collection of books similar to this one. It’s great, he loves it, but it’s backwards and upside down. We have to close it, flip it over to the back cover and then flip it upside down so that everything inside is in alphabetical order and right-side up.

Great intro to complex topics for kids
This book is great for getting kids a head start on a complex subject. The book teaches in three levels. First is just the word or phrase (A is for…). Second is a short sentence about the word. Third is a more detailed few sentences about the concept. We already had one for my 4 and 8 year old, but just bought another for a friend who is having a baby soon 🙂 If you are an Engineer of any sort, or even if you are not, your kids can learn quite a bit from this book.

Cute book I gave as a gift to a friend. Only negative was that the thick board pages were not flat so the book came slightly warped.

Super cute, love this series!
Not only is this enjoyable for my preschooler, but my elementary and ms/hs kids think these are awesome, too! They give a simple overview of the vocabulary associated with each subject matter, in this case engineering, and explain it in a way that sticks with them. Chris Ferrie’s books are an excellent way of introducing material to your child and sparking their interest. Looking forward to adding to our collection!

I love how there are different stages you can read based on their age. And the information is quite detailed, a lot more than I ever expected it to be. Great book for tiny engineers 🙂
