   Wonderful ending, needed it after the last book
   The only thing I dislike was shifting of time of the different groups. It confuse me a couple times. I don’t mind multiple storylines but this group was 3 weeks ago, the next group 10 later, etc. Still I enjoyed the technology of this world. And the characters were very interesting. Highly recommended.

   Another exciting adventure with well-written characters
   This sequel to Sand is on a par with it continuing the story of Palmer (who was the first to reach the ruins of Denver), his brothers Connor (a diver who lives in the shadow of Palmer) and Rob (who becomes an excellent tinkerer) and their half sister Violet (who was trained as a diver by their father).Their older sister Vic who was a master diver is presumed dead after setting off a nuclear bomb in an act of revenge and serves as the launching point of this book which delves into the consequences of this act.The book has a reasonably good and satisfying ending but there is obviously much more of the story to be told.

   Great sequel to a fabulous book
   I’m so delighted that the Sand saga has been extended. I couldn’t stop reading. Chores went unfinished. I resented sleep that interrupted and dogs insisting on a meal. I’m going to read the books again, slowly, savoring each phrase instead of racing through them.

   Very good read…
   It’s been awhile since The Sand Chronicles came out (6 or 7 years) so I re-read it before starting Across the Sand. I thoroughly enjoyed this book… it was a good sequel, I just hope I don’t have to wait 6 or 7 years to find out how far she was able to get with only two percent left on her battery! 😁

   Very enjoyable, especially near the end. One should read the books in order. It has been some time I read the first book and I had forgotten some of the details referred to.

   Ich mochte schon die Silo Trilogie sehr. Sand hat dasselbe Kaliber. Die Charaktere sind ausgewogen, mit genug Tiefgang und Hintergrund, Klischees fehken größtenteils. Alleine das ist schon herrlich erfrischend. Dazu noch eine spannende Geschichte und ein perfekter Umgang mit Sprache. Es ist einfach schön, die Worte zu lesen. Es holpert nichts, es ist weder langatmig noch zu kurz, die Bilder im Kopf fließen ohne jegliche Anstrengung und man ist mitten in der Geschichte. Genau so sollten Bücher sein.
