I adore Amy, huge fan. She’s inspired me for many years as a fellow jazz singer and musician, I look up to Amy and the amazing artist she was. I wish she was still with us now. This book is a nice one. It’s nice to see pictures and read more about this one of a kind artist and lyrical genius. Love it.

I ordered AMY WINEHOUSE: IN HER OWN WORDS on 9/25 and it arrived 10/3 as a beautiful new hardcover filled with glossy color and b/w photographs (some full pages) from all the years of Amy’s brief life! Loving anecdotes and tributes are accompanied with handwritten texts from Amy’s journals and writings along with her poems and original song lyrics. This is an amazing collectible for $18.97 I now treasure as a long-time hard-core fan of Amy’s musical genius! Better than I thought
Was never an Amy fan, but after reading her thoughts, I see that she was a smart, talented and a visual ahead of her time. Gone way too soonâ¦highly recommend this read and the book is actually beautifully presented. Definitely a coffee table book for all to browse through.

I’ll cherish this forever. It goes into the collection of her mums, dads, Tyler’s(My Amy), Charles Moriarty (Back to Amy) and Naomi’s (Beyond Black) books. This however feels really sentimentally special as it’s Amy – the girl – her interests, her thoughts, her scribbles and inner thoughts. I can feel her personality beaming through the pages rather than the usual pieces on her which always feel like a countdown before we discuss the ‘tragedy’ of her life …rather than the beauty of what she managed to achieve in so little time!
