I recommend this book for all crime enthusiasts and to those who enjoy horror films. I was delighted by this authors knowledge of same.

Could’ve been worse, but could’ve been better
You would think that based on this title, it would keep you riveted the whole time. And you would be thinking incorrectly. Some of the stories and their backgrounds were interesting, but a lot of it was not. I’d give it 70/30 in favor of the good & interesting, but 30% is quite a lot, right? Some background history made very little sense, and some of it was watching-paint-dry level boring, which is why it took me way too long to finish it: I kept putting it down. The games on my phone were more interesting. I bought this over a year ago so I don’t know about now, but if you can get this on Kindle Unlimited rather than paying for it, I would highly suggest going that route.

i always heard so much stuff growing up about this being true, or not…so this helps put some things to rest. It was received in the time frame advised in fine condition; I am satisfied with my purchase.

I really enjoyed this book, and found the true stories (not all crime) that inspired the horror films really interesting, albeit some more than others.There are photos to accompany the stories, in the middle of the book; some of the films and some from real life that were the inspiration for said films.

Its okay if your a film buff and have seen all these films but half of them I hadn’t so I found this book a hard read…I’m not one to give up though but I wouldn’t recommend it.
