    Love it
Just got the book today and my 8 year old already loves it. It’s more in depth than previous black history books I’ve gotten him. The glossary as well as recommendations of where/how to learn more are also really cool. Great buy!

    Informative book
Perfect for teaching about inventors. I learned a lot of interesting facts. Easy read

  3. Rhonda Johnson

    Very interesting
My 7yr old granddaughter used this book during black history month at school. Her teacher really liked this book.

    More influential figures
This book is wonderful! In February it seems the same list of people are taught. Ruby Bridges, Martin Luther King, Harriet Tubman and Rosa Parks. If we viewed black history as just American history I believe we could make leaps and bounds in societal relations. This book showed my eight and nine year old some of the many inventions that have had and continues to have a positive impact on society. This should be a required reading.

    Awe inspiring!
Although this book is rated for children 6 – 11, I think any adult would find this book extremely informative and educational. If not already, it should be in school libraries to serve as inspiration for Black and Brown children. In addition, I think other ethnic groups would benefit as well. It helps us to give more thought to how we view others.

A book showing the creative intelligence, accomplishments and contributions of Black people to the development of civilization.

  7. Curious, I’ve been searching for a few years now for a cure for my eczema. this seems promising.

    Great African American history
I originally bought this book for my grandchildren, it has so many interesting facts that I never knew about. So I’ve been reading it. I think they should have books like this in public schools. It’s a great education. As well as fun facts. It was an awesome buy.
