Perfect Christmas read!
I had to pace myself. The characters are so rich you can just picture the shelter inn and it’s residents.

Excellent book!
Great stories of love, heartbreak, forgiveness, and the wonderful Gift of God: sacrifice, mercy and grace. A wonderful book for all to read.

What a totally amazing, heartwarming book! I am not usually a big fan of Christmas books but this was extraordinary ! Looking forward to the next one.

Great Christmas story
When Natalie dropped everything to go back to her hometown to help her sister, she had no idea exactly what she would find. She knew that since her sister had been ordered bed rest until the baby came, Natalie would be taking care of her two young nieces. Then there was the new doctor in town that she had known her whole life since he had been her brothers best friend. She had this, right?

So many issues to deal with
Another in the Shelter Springs series, in which big sister Natalie Shepherd comes home to take care of her nieces when her younger sister is on bed rest to retain her third pregnancy. Not where Natalie wants to be, particularly at Christmas, a season she equates with bad memories.Making things more difficult is her frequent encounters with Dr. Griffin Taylor, because his grandmother lives in the senior center that is now the Shelter Inn. He was formerly a good friend, but also the man she had a crush on during high school. Griff has his own issues after coming back to the town where his father’s reputation continues to follow Griff around. As Nat becomes more involved with the people at Shelter Inn, she also has to confront her feelings about her travels–is she really just running away from the issues she doesn’t want to deal with?–and her feelings toward Griff and her estranged father. Where will this all end? And can she change her mind about leaving shortly after her sister has the baby?

As usual, Raeanne’s Christmas book lives up to expectations. A lot of good family values and quite a few tears. I just couldn’t put it down until I had read it, although I did have to take a break to sleep halfway through. If you have never read one of her books before, once you have read this one, my bet is on you looking up her other books to read- try the Haven Point ones as they are all just as good, or then again anything that she has written, because I haven’t read a bad one yet.
