I ordered these books for myself not for a kid. I am learning how to draw and paint animals. The drawings are perfect to teach me how to draw these dogs. The drawings can also be used as an ink transfer. I rather draw my own. I loved coloring books as a kid. I do recommend this book for a child. The pictures are very cute and easy for a child to color. Price is very reasonable. This book makes a nice gift.
