    Children’s Books Done Right
    Bought this for my daughter to read on my tablet on a camping trip. She wound up feeling nauseous in the evening and wanted something to relax with in the tent to take her mind oof of it. She loves the Judy Moody books, and as it was a summer vacation this seemed appropriate. She devoured it one night and then talked my ear off about it the next day on the hike out of the woods.I have not personally read this one but have read pieces of others in the series and think they are perfect for young readers. My daughter is 9 and has been reading them for the past few years. The plots, the language, and characters are all surprisingly acceptable! I have had to take more than my fair share of books from my daughter after checking up on them. Seems it is hard to find quality series like this one anymore. Ones without needless poor writing, offensive topics, or just downright stupidity in them.Highly reccomended as a whole, Megan McDonald does kids books right.

    Judy Moody was No Bummer
    My eight year old daughter read this book with seven other girls in her book club. After they read the book, they all went to see the movie. After the movie they discussed the differences between the book and the movie and talked about which they liked better.The book was written in a way that kept the girls involved and wanting to read more. All of the girls finished the book and some of them read it more than once!The book and the movie parallel each other very closely. When I asked the girls which they liked better, answers were varied. Some girls liked the book, some liked the movie and others enjoyed them both the same.This was a fun way for the girls to start off their summer and now the girls look forward to reading more Judy Moody books!My daughter wanted me to let everyone reading this review know that the book was fun to read because of the way the characters talked to each other. They were funny and sometimes a little gross.

    Bought this book for my daughter! It was something I grew up on and the book came in perfect condition! Also a fun book to read!

    Great way to buy books, especially when the kids want the whole series. These were much more expensive at Barnes and Noble at the time we bought these.

    My daughter is 8 and loves all the Judy Moody Books. If you have a daughter who likes to read I thinks these are great!!!

    i think this book is realy good. when i heard there was a movie i watched it imediately. i find the books funny but for me i find they end to soon. its a great book and im looking for others to read.
