   What a GREAT way to introduce your kids to authors!
   I bought this book for my kids (grades 3rd-8th) as a way to introduce them to authors. I was presently surprised just how excited they were to read this book and learn about the authors in the book. After they read through the engaging short stories and enjoyed the colorful illustrations, they began to be interested in learning more about other authors as well. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to introduce authors to their kids.

   This book came here on time. I bought it for my granddaughter. It is very well presented, hard cover, interesting pictures, and easy reading. It arrived in great packaging. I recommend this seller.

   Interesting, engaging bios
   My third grade daughter and I are having such fun reading through these stories. Most are a nice length for bedtime, but you could double up too. After reading these, I certainly have wanted to learn more about the authors! Each bio has such a fun piece of trivia or background on why the author may have written what he or she did. My fourth grade child has the Kid Artists book which she is reading through herself and has told me that she is really enjoying it as well.

   Very good information for kids.
   Ordered all the books from this line. Very good information and my daughter loves them. She tells me all about the book and what characters where in it.

   Love these books. Need more such!
   Bought these from my Kindergartner who loves reading. Wanted something that way the usual picture book with bright big picture but no content. There is a fair bit of information & the illustrations are great. Like them a lot.

   Daughter devoured this!
   My 11 year old aspiring author and avid reader, read this book in its entirety in less than 1 day! She absolutely loved it! Her favorite story was of JRR Tolkien’s nurse putting his foot in her mouth to suck out the venom from a spider bite.

   Fantastically written, entertaining stories. My daughter absolutely loves this series and can’t get enough. Stories are well-written and presented in an entertaining way for kids.
