    Interesting FBI story
Interesting characters and premise. Good twists and turns and surprising conclusion. Liked the tool of allowing characters to speak for themselves in each chapter. Well worth the time to curl up and read (with your lights on!).

    Talk about trusting the people…
I like the quirky personalities of the agents, but the interpersonal relationships seem to be too common and don’t seen to fit the FBI profile, creating too many distractions for the team to function well…Also, seems like the action moves too swiftly, with little plans or survallience… it was good, just too simple and quick. Characters were definitely the best part.

    Excellent start to a series
This was a fast-paced mystery/thriller that was a fantastic start to a series. The characters are flawed and have a darkness that follows their personal lives as they chase the darkness that is a cult with a serial killer as part of it. Their personalities shine through as they navigate both their professional and personal paths, making them come to life on the page. The book was a quick read, but the story never felt rushed. While the plot wasn’t anything new or groundbreaking, the storytelling made it not matter. I was hooked on every word and can’t wait to get to the second book and see where the stories of the characters go as well as what darkness of humanity they hunt on their next case.

This book pulls you in and problem solving from the beginning.Killer Cult is focusing on Fallon Baxter and her return to her hometown and hope to finding clues to the painful past she has been carrying. She is not even settled in when she gets the call for her first case since her return. As she starts to get involved in her first case she has a few clues leading to what brought her home. Will Fallon be able to find the answers to her past and solve the case or will she be left with a trail of clues and more questions then before.
