If you like rock ‘n roll history–this is it
Has to be one of my favorite rock history books. It is easy to navigate, speedy to read, stylishly written., a classic–it’s definitely a fast lane. Worth to read it just to know what the “Hotel California” means.

  2. Jake

Plays fair for the most part and it is juicy
Juicy. He doesn’t particularly like Don and Glenn but he plays fair for the most part.

    Love reading
To read and enjoy the book

  4. Shane

    A quick read
The book was decent and had a good amount of content but Mick Wall overkilled on certain subjects and lacked on others.. I enjoyed it however I would think there are other Eagles bio books that may give a much bigger picture of the band.

  5. Buzz

Well written book on all aspects of the Eagles rise to fame. Songwriting, dating and turmoil.
I liked the interaction between all bandmates and how songs like Hotel California , take it easy and others were pulled together. Don Henley dated Stevie Nicks that was news to me.

  6. Hogie

Obviously Henley is a control freak on info.
Pretty much confirmed what we all knew about real truth of the 2 two leaders of the band and their control of any info their band!

  7. Brian Ploss

    Pretty damn good
Love reading someone who speaks honestly and from the head/heart. Absolutely funny and extremely interesting. An absolutely solid read with really no holes left wanting.

  8. JBmadera

    Some interesting information
There is some solid behind-the-scenes info but the author’s writing style is so cringeworthy it ruins much of the book.
