Any book that my son says he enjoys, other than the Diary of a Wimpy kid series is a win. About to pick up the rest of the series. And it was a required book for 4th grade. Win!

I’m a teacher and this is my favorite book to read to my class. It’s a mystery, it’s clever and has beautiful sketches that go along with it. Highly recommend. This purchase was my copy to have at home for my own kids.

Great story of friendship and mystery
This book was on the Illinois choice award list for 4-8 graders this year, which is why I originally picked it up. The book is great for boys or girls. It has an excellent story of friendship and understanding even in unusual circumstances. The story has some mystery to it as well, and many references to famous artists and artwork. A fun, exciting story for children ages 9-12.

Marvelous Book
This is a very cute story that is well-written. I shared it with my fifth grade students who loved it and bought a copy for my granddaughter who also loved the story.

Fantastic read-aloud book. Really great story. Enjoyed by third grade boys (we passed this one on to friends we liked it so much) and first grade girl. Side benefit: a little art history lesson.

I am always trying to read the grade 3-5 list. Sunshine state young readers list. I am also looking for books that connect for my students as well as to the arts, my school is a performing arts elementary school. With this book I not only foundd a wonderful story but a piece the boys will like as well as interest the students in art. It’s a must have for my classroom library.
