An Irish Village Mystery, book 10
This is book 10 in the Irish Village Mystery series. I have read several books in the series but not all and I had no trouble following Siobhán and Macdara Flannery and their family on a belated honeymoon in Kilbane in County Cork. When they discover the dead body of Mrs. Chips they are drawn into the investigation. A good cozy with lovable characters and a great plot.

I have read the previous nine books in this series by Carlene O’Connor. I ordered it the moment I saw it was available. The events take place in a new town with a new set of characters. This drew me in. Siobhan and Macdara were initially back seat characters. This also drew and kept me reading to discover how the story was going to twist. There were several possible paths to follow. I had a thought of how it would end about midway through but then changed my mind only to discover I was correct in my thought of who done it but wrong on the how.

Fast moving family vacation/honeymoon with lots of surprises. Keeps you guessing. Who done it? I had to go to Google to get the correct pronunciation of some of the names ð
