    Enjoyable And Entertaining!!
Oscar saves the day again!! In this entertaining continuation of Dan and Oscar’s adventures they are in Pisa to provide security for a group of very high rollers who are to be part of a top secret business venture. As usual all are not as they seem, secrets and hidden agendas abound. Added into the mix is that Dan’s girlfriend Anna has a daughter who is part of the contingent. Dan has never met her and she is also adverse to meeting him. When her boss is found murdered Virginia is eventually arrested with what seems an air tight case. Naturally Dan steps in to try and help find the real killer. It certainly isn’t going to be easy with the current Inspector on the case a most unlikable person. He even resorts to arresting Dan! Enjoyable as all of the previous books in this series with interesting finely drawn characters, Dan with Oscar by his side really have their work cut out. Finally putting a fine tuned plan into action to draw out the real culprit, there are some very intense moments causing a lot of drama. But Oscar being the amazing dog he is comes to the rescue. A very good read with vivid descriptions of the countryside, delicious food and of course a first rate mystery. I am looking forward to the next book!Kudos to the author! 🎉👏📚

Enjoyable but not one of his best
The way this mystery was finally solved made me wonder if the author started the story and then found he didn’t know how to end it. I’ll probably try the next one in the series, but it may be the series has exhausted its potential.

    heartwarming and charming
Well conceived plots of those lighthearted mysteries set in Tuscany are moved along by a laid back retired policeman and a most charming black lab. Cozy read and a must for all lovers of dogs, mysteries and Italy.

the Dog and his Person are a treat
Yes, a person-loving, very charming Dog really adds to this well spun story. And the wonderful descriptions of countryside and settings makes the book well worth reading. The whole series has been a very enjoyable experience, and a very welcome alternative to watching or reading about actual current events here in the US.Thank you TA Williams!

In Trouble in Pisa? Lean on Dan and Oscar
Dan Armstrong and Oscar, his big Lab, have many things on their minds in this book. Okay, maybe not Oscar, who is a refreshingly real dog and concentrates on food and getting attention, especially from ladies.Dan, however, has a brutal murder to solve at a high-end villa in Pisa, filled with wealthy and lowly people, including a first meeting with his girl friend’s daughter, who has decided, without ever seeing him, that she does not like him or his relationship with her mother. In addition, Dan’s first book has been published. Also, he has some red herrings to sort out.My only problem is that I have difficulty keeping suspects sorted out, especially when they are introduced in a short time. I had particular difficulty this time. The local inspector added comic relief. He is a sort of Barney Fife on steroids.Reading a good cozy mystery is always a treat. Here in East Tennessee, murders usually consist of two relatives arguing, then one shoots the other and is found hiding under the house by the police. No careful planning. No taking time to devise red herrings to complicate the investigation. Only one suspect. Dan and Oscar provide a good contrast.

    Great Story
Again, like a good travelogue, T A Williams has taken us on a great adventure-this time to Pisa. Another lovely location with serious bad guys. Great plot and characters. Enough details and tense moments to believe you have witnessed a murder, but who done it? With Oscar and Dan on the case we know the murderer will not escape!

Really enjoyable! I was drawn into the plot from the start, following Dan and dog Oscar in such a beautiful setting transported me to another world, full of intrigue and shady characters against an Italian backdrop! The bungling detective added a touch of humour, and readers would have laughed at his demise as he literally shoots himself in the foot! Wonderful stuff! I look forward to reading more by T.A Williams.

I love these books with Armstrong and Oscar. It’s like taking a trip to Italy. And the food is great too. I hope there will be more delightful books to come!

I like his writing . He can lighten it up with some humor. That’s important to me.
