   Absolutely excellent. Don’t miss on this incredible book.
   There isn’t anything that I didn’t like. Very real and honest. It’s shows that miracles happen in recovery. I have a family member whose been an addict for 20 years so I do have first hand experience plus 12 years of recovery for myself. Unfortunately my family hasn’t recovered and this book helped me understand him and his addiction. Give it away to anyone that it can. Lives are dependent on getting help.

   Captivating and Heart Wrenching – – Couldn’t put it down
   To anyone that has been affected by addiction be it personal or through association this book will touch your soul. You will reflect on personal experiences and feel the anguish openly shared in these pages. These words will be scanned by your eyes at a surprising rate and will at moments become blurry and hard to distinguish. It’s at that moment you realize tears are flowing down your cheeks as you think of your loved ones that either watched you self destruct – – – or you are watching them. Many times you may feel this book is about you and yours as you envision scenes laid before you and recall events exactly as you remember experiencing them. While this is not a “new story” it is the first book I have found that shares the emotions and experiences as I recall them forcing a self-reflection of just how helpless a skilled and confident person can be in the grips of addiction. A heart-felt and sincere thank you goes out to the authors of this special book and to those that helped Rory along his life journey. To those that Rory helped with their struggles – I would encourage you to do the same for another addict that needs your help, even if you don’t think you will make a difference. (you never know when it will)

   Very Good Read
   Rory’s story is very raw and real. The way the story is told sucks you right into the book and I couldn’t put it down. Yes he does use the F bomb a lot. But who doesn’t in today’s society. A must read for someone who is struggling with addiction or with years in recovery.

   A powerful memoir
   I find myself thinking of this book frequently even long after I have finished reading it. This is a book that will speak to your soul regardless of your background and experiences because it emphasizes in big and little ways our shared humanity. I am thankful to Rory for freely sharing his hard-won wisdom and for Sweta for weaving the stories together to create this book. Highly recommend!
