Bought for our 3yo. She loves to paint! We used this traveling with (Melissa & Doug) water pens. Will look for other water pens to use with it! The paper was thick, the colors were great! Easy to use!

This was damaged and the paint colors don’t work.
The water color paints had to have been damaged. They did not work when wet paint brush was applied to them. My grand daughter was upset she wasn’t able to paint.

Had high hopes of painting with the grands but quickly realized the paint chips in these books was not nearly enough to color the pictures. The drawings are cute & kid friendly but we had to use a full pallet of water color paints. That said, the paper is sturdy & holds up well to water colors.
