Just WOW
The Advocate is a beautiful story of Sabre and Sabres best friend Bob dedicate themselves to protecting children and families at risk of domestic violence. This story is non stop twist and turns as Sabre deals with heartbreaking cases of abuse and she’s still reeling from the sudden loss of her brother Ron. Through a particularly difficult case she finds some information about Ron.I highly recommend The Advocate. See for yourself the journey Sabre and Bob is thrust into. .

Entertaining Mystery/Thriller
The Advocate was an entertaining read, not dark or heavy. I appreciated that it is not full of vulgar language, as so many books are these days. Character development was fairly solid, however, I was able to figure out most of the twists beforehand.The narrator for the audible version was pretty vanilla, which is usually a good thing. I live near Atlanta, where some of this book takes place and her pronunciation of some of the southern dialog was not even close. The narrator uses a lot of glottal stops, so definitely not from the southeastern US. Additionally, for the first time ever, I could hear pages being turned during the narration. And finally, Marine Corps was pronounced “Marine Corpse”.My review rating is for book content only.

I read this book in less than 24 hours! Not because it’s short, but because I couldn’t put it down! This author solved my issue of not being able to find books that can hold my attention. I’ve just bought the second one in the series. Thank you, Teresa Burrell! â¤ï¸

I was hook Ed by this book in a few pages and it never let me go. Excellent plot line,full of twists with interlocking sub-plots, excellent characterizations and smooth narrative. Will read other books by this author at first chance.

As I wrote in my review for book Two, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I will certainly recommend this book to my friends. Teresa Burrell has created a niche for herself.She has a wealth of experiences in the Juvenile courts to share with the readers. Her story has human interest and the character of Alexis is very intriguing as it unfolds. Its almost like a painting! Reminds me of the beauty of innocence in a ten year old girl- just like my niece used to be at this age! I love the author’s ‘Love for Children!’The novel is intriguing and satisfies the Mystery Loving part of the soul!! I am a die hard fan of Agatha Christie and own a collection of all her movies… I think someone should make a movie on one of Teresa Burrell’s books too!!I will write this in every review of her books- I LOVE THE ABSENCE OF UGLY VIOLENCE in her books. I (try to) read one book a day…If I’m buying a book by a new author, I always buy one book first- just to see the style. I am EVER SO GLAD that these books don’t contain either violence or other imagery which makes one throw up!! All in all, her books make very pleasant reading!!

I read one of the later books of this series first and loved it, so back to the beginning I have gone.The writing is so good, the characters pull you into their stories. I am looking forward to reading the rest of these books.

The Advocate is one of the greatest books I have read. It holds terror, heartbreak, passion and emotion within it’s pages. An amazing story about a young advocate. She works tirelessly to protect children in dangerous situations. But one of her cases brings her into mortal danger. A powerful book. Most Highly recommended.
