This series has been great for building an interest in historical fiction. I learn a lot about how life was in that era. And who knew the Madam was such a beauty in her youth? But I have to say Mao Mao earned that smack on the head. Think before you speak!The look on her face made quite a cliffhanger. Can’t wait to see how she’ll pull this off!
