I love how the book rhymes. The bear is adorable. A good lesson is taught about cleaning up after yourself and not getting distracted.

Bartholomew Bear refuses to cut his hair. Eventually it grew to his knees and he no longer looked like a bear. Despite his family’s concern, he refused to comply.One day when home alone, Batholomew decided he wanted a snack. That snack involved honey. His troubles began as he kept creating more turmoil and left the house in a mess. Eventually, he could not see and his hair was a sticky mess. Can you guess what happens when his mom returns home.This book is a fun way to teach children to clean up themselves and their belongings. Bartholomew is a fun character with which young children will identify.The rhymes are funny and the story fun to read aloud. Also, a good choice for parents with children who are reluctant to cut their hair.Recommended especially for ages three through seven.

Bartholomew Bear does not want to cut his hair. It grows and grows until it is over his eyes and body. After school one day he decides he needs a snack. Well, you know that snack is sticky, and Bartholomew has it everywhere–in his hair, on the table, on the floor, on his toys, and every place in between. What is he to do?I enjoyed this adorable story. Bartholomew is so much like any little kid–makes a mess but doesn’t clean up. He learns a valuable lesson that way. His mom has to step in to save the day.The illustrations are adorable. You’re gonna love it! So will your little ones.I hope to read more about Bartholomew Bear.

Wonderful story with a lesson to learn. Great pictures also. Was to be a bedtime story ,but he stayed up looking at easy page as I read. Enjoyed it
