I Bought This As A Bathroom Reader
I love trivia, having factoids and ‘gee whiz’ information at the ready to amuse and inform my friends and co-workers has long been my ‘thing’, so I grabbed this book so that I could read individual facts and not having to read an entire chapter, so a Book of Unusual Knowledge is right up my alley and I got this as light reading for the bathroom.Truth be told, this book has yet to see the bathroom after I started reading through the various sections and quickly picking up some random wisdom that I never knew I needed to know until just now. In fact, this book has become a favorite among my grandkids and it resides on my coffee table where everyone takes the opportunity to find out what they didn’t know they needed to know. With some 700+ pages, there’s something that will befuddle and amuse even the most hardened critic. It’s easy to read, provides an endless stream of facts and oddball information and reading it is just good family time fun. This book is just the sort of easy reading that I like. My wife and grandkids are enjoying it as well and I just had my 7yo grandson (who must have heard his brother reading aloud) approach me and ask “Did you know…….”.As soon as I’ve milked this book for all the facts I can get, I’m heading back to get the next similar reader. I love this book and it has already provided hours and hours of fun, excitement and belly rolling laughs.

    Lots of fun reading
I bought this for a relative’s 80th birthday; she is a very curious sort and is always writing things in a notebook to look up in more detail. So I thought this series of books was a perfect fit. She was absolutely delighted and has enjoyed telling me something she has just learned. I like how you can just skip around, or open to a random page, to find something new and interesting. And, with so many pages, you’re bound to find lots of curious information.

    Knowledge
I enjoy books with history and knowledge. I only have read some so that is why I rated it with a 4 star.⭐️The quality of the binder is made well and it is fun to read. I will be purchasing the rest of the volumes at a later date.

    Great conversation starters within!
Filled with random facts, categorized into topics. It’s a lot of fun to read, and whip out the odd “did you know…?” on a group of friends, family, or co-workers. Binding is well-crafted, and the front cover reminds me of The Handbook for the Recently Deceased (unsure if that was intentional). All around good value. Enjoy!

    Good price
This book has more tidbits of information than you can shake a stick at. This is a large tome with information on some things you are already aware of and some that you are not. Did not read this all at once, a good book to pick up for an hour just to relax the mind and get away from what is going on around you.

    Decent content, low quality
Haven’t read everything, but there is a lot of interesting facts and content. The quality of the book itself is a bit disappointing. The cover feels cheap and plasticky, and the pages are super thin and semi-transparent.
