Perfect marriage of art and science
What a beautiful book. I have been a nurse for 15 years and wanted this book to review some of the things we whizzed through in a&p oh so long ago. What a surprise to get this large, beautiful book with a plethora of information that starts with our very evolution. It is a coffee table book for nerds and I recommend it for all you science lovers who also enjoy a good picture book. ð

Beautiful artwork! Impeccable, really. But all the figures are of men? This makes no sense. Women are half the population and anyone studying medicine would be equally in need of learning female anatomy.

What an amazing book! Every part of the human body, every organ, every cell is covered with fabulous illustrations, many of them the latest computer-generated images in all their gory detail. It’s amazing what your insides look like and interesting to read how they function, implicitly function, this big heavy book shows the lot. Great value for money over 500 pages for you to get lost in with medical curiosity. Much better than pouring over a computer screen as you can examine a book intimately. Computers are great but its always nice to have a good book. Highly recommended, you won’t be disappointed with The Complete Human Body: The Definitive Visual Guide. With full colour Hi res images on every page!
