Great little mafia read!
I loved this book!! I enjoyed it so much more than I thought I would. It is a shorter read but it was full of mafia vibes, little bit of Stockholm syndrome, unexpected love, character growth, and most importantly hot spicy scenes! I wish Lucy and Ravil’s story was longer, but I am now looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Starts at 5 months pregnant
In my cheapness, I try not to stock up on 99c deals because I now that I’ll want to finish the series and it will take a huge bite out of my budget…. but I adore Renee Rose.This fell right into my Arranged Pregnancies and Mafia reading mood right now. And it was perfect! The couple were introduced in a Blacklight Roulette book (iykyk) but I did not read that beforehand. So my review is from a standalone experience. They met as strangers in a BD$M club, the protection fails, but she promised to take a pill.When she gets home however, she decides to have the baby on her own. Five months later, our story starts when Baby Daddy walks into her law firm seeking counsel. And all her plans go out the door. Rather, he invites himself into her apartment and spirits her out the door to his MAFIA HEADQUARTERS. He knows that he will be a good father and she’ll have to accept that or find a sneaky way out because he’s not letting go.I could tell that the writing was good within two chapters. Through it all, he pampers her like only a mafia boss can! He’s tender and kind, and dominant. He’s really a good guy with a sad upbringing. And his merry men of bachelor lieutenants are hilarious.(Update: I read their short story in Blacklight: Roulette Wars and boyyyyyyy that’s hot!)

Good short story!
I enjoy this book. On the lighter side dark spicy romance than I typical read but good short read. Not sure if I am really interested in finding book two but if I do I dont pay for ebooks.

Fulfills its purpose
First time I read this author and I was pleasantly surprised. A short story that, although it doesn’t have a great development, manages to entertain and has the necessary ingredients to be read in one sitting.I liked both characters, especially Ravil who, aside from the kidnapping detail, is everything we want!I was very intrigued by the rest of the boys so I will continue with the series.

I was not prepared for how excellent this book was. It was well written, and ultimately such a nice, enjoyable book. The dynamic between the characters was fantastic. Ravil was such a good male character, Lucy had such strength and compunction, and it was amazing to see how they were able to navigate their relationship

O god this was a lot.. and not really in a good way. The writing was rushed and lacked a real plot. The writers understanding of pregnancy seems to lack in all aspects. I love me a good dark romance but this was neither dark nor romance. I’ve read fanfiction that’s a thousand times better.

I am surprised at how easy to read this book is .. I started it this morning and have finished it within the same day. I love how the storyline develops between Lucy and Ravil… true, there is not immense depth to the story but it is very enjoyable. I now want to read the story of the birth .. and the story of all of Ravil’s men.
