   Great, fun read!
   This is kinda like a classic now! I loved that it was red and added it to a stocking for my kid at Christmas. It is a great book that is fun to read!

   We already had this book and love it! I purchased it for my niece because my kids loved it so much and my niece became quickly obsessed too! Such a fun book!

   Summary: It’s a wonderful story about a little brown Mouse taking a walk through a deep dark wood and not getting eaten by bigger animals by convincing them of the existence of a terrible creature, the Gruffalo. All is going well for our Mouse, until he meets the Gruffalo face to face! Then he has to convince the Gruffalo that he’s actually a big scary creature.It’s written by Julia Donaldson who is my absolute favourite children’s author right now. I was a nanny for 11 years and I know that anything by Julia Donaldson is going to be a hit. This book has been around so long and is so popular in England that there is actually a lot of merch that you can get to go with it if you choose. There’s a movie, an audio book, stuffed animals to represent every character, and even a sequel! The Gruffalo’s Child.This is absolutely one of the best children’s books around. I can not recommend this highly enough. Every person that I know/ am related to that is under the age of 10 has received this book from me as a present at some point in their lives. I usually purchase it as a baby shower gift because I want to make sure they have it, either that or for a child I nannied, it would be for the first birthday I celebrated with them.Kids love this book because of the repetitive rhyming scheme and it’s easy to jump in words at the end of sentences for pre-readers. I will never tire of reading this, even over and over. In fact, it’s probably been 2 or 3 years since I’ve read it, and I could absolutely recite it from memory right now. Proudly!In fact, stop reading this review and buy the book.

   Such a fun read!
   This is one of my 4 year old grandsons favorite books. The line the fox saw the mouse and the mouse looked good, needed to be elaborated on that it was because fox eat mice. But other than that it flowed well and many opportunities to use different voices when reading. He laughed and wanted it read and re-read over and over. Of the four books I bought this was one of his favorites

   Children love this book!!!
   I have worked with children of all ages and they can relate to the mouse in the story and love to cheer him on during his adventure through the woods! I has beenused in upper grades to help kids understand relationships and we talked about how to find ways of becoming friends with people who scare us.I have use this book with kids from 3 to 12 years old, depending on the topic I used it with.

   Una storia intramontabile, libro acquistato in inglese per introdurre la mia bimba alla lingua e ai suoi suoni, penso che sia ideale vista la ripetitività della storia che è sempre avvincente!Belle le illustrazioni e bello il formato, bellissima qualità della carte e delle stampe e perfetto da portare anche in giro visto che è sottile e leggero.

    J’ai acheté ce livre pour faire un peu d’anglais avec mon fils de 5ans et fille de 3ans. Il est vraiment sympa: histoire sympa, on y apprend les parties du corps, les animaux et les couleurs. Une bonne morale à la fin. Très bien conçu et très sympa. Ma fille de 3ans a quand meme eu un peu peur du monstre:-)
