What can I say about this book except WOW!
What can I say about this book except WOW! I highly recommend!Imagine slowly coming to consciousness and coming to realize that you can’t move, you can’t open your eyes, and you have no idea of where you are or what has happened to you. You slowly start recalling running from someone but can’t recall from whom or why. You only know you were running for your life. This is how The Hospital begins. It engaged me from the beginning and kept me throughout the book. I became caught up in Emma’s fear.As Leslie usually does, the story focuses on the protagonist while giving us insights from the antagonist. As Emma begins remembering her life, I was led to believe first one person then another was responsible for Emma’s plight. As the action picked up I began reading faster, racing through the pages to the exciting conclusion. I have never been disappointed in a Leslie Wolfe Novel! This was gifted to me but I would have purchased it. To my knowledge I own copies of all of Leslie’s books. I am voluntarily sharing my thoughts.

suspenseful
Felt this book started out at a slow pace and a bit repetitive. Suspense was created as to who was Emma’s stalker and who attacked her. Emma sustained a traumatic brain injury but was that the real cause of her memory loss, blindness and inability to move? The twist at the end, makes this book worth reading.

Interesting
I thought the book was fairly good. It seemed to drag too much and I felt I couldn’t get through it quick enough.Good twists and turns.

Terrifying
Very good! I read the other reviews and they right. I had read the whole thing in one sitting. So except for food, water and bathroom breaks, I sat right here and read.Wow. It’s like being on a runaway train but you can’t jump off.

A torturous read
Things unfold too slowly if you have to eat and sleep while you are reading this. A very predictable ending but getting there is quite a journey.

Repetitive!
I have been a fan of Leslie Wolfe for years and have enjoyed all her books until this one! I felt the plot was too slow to develop – the interminable questions asked over and over again by the protagonist were enought to induce yawning. I did finish the book but I was often tempted not to. But, because of my regard for the author I did complete it. My opinion has not changed.
