I LOST SLEEP READING THIS BOOK
Ava Strong put together a story that captivated me from the very beginning. There are plots and subplots that kept me wondering how the story would end. Remi Laurent, in spite of the possible danger of being a member of the FBI, still is excited to be in the hunt for yet another serial killer. Also, she is concerned about her relationship with a man who seems to want to control her lifestyle. Throw in the character who is the one of the characters in the story and you have a storyline that will keep you reading to the last page.

    Good Read!
I enjoy the odd pairing of Remi and Daniel. Remi is becoming more independent and assertive. Daniel seems to enjoy working and socializing with Remi. I like the focus on the vivid descriptions of the art and scenery. Remi needs to control her obsession with cryptex and her impulsive behavior. A well written action packed mystery with interesting characters!

    A great thrilling read
Remi & Daniel are back on a case but this one is more stranger than the last one. Remi really hopes that they can find all the paintings before all of the four men are killed. Remi knows that she should be focusing all of her attention on the case but things aren’t going well with her boyfriend. Daniel knows that Remi knows her stuff but he does worry that she puts herself into dangerous situations all the time. He enjoys working with her & hopefully one day they can work together some more. Will they with the help of Interpol be able to find the killer and what makes the paintings so special?Another great read. I love Remi as she never gives up even when things start going wrong. She is very determine to solve the puzzle. Daniel has too much baggage from his past and that will keep him from going back to the BAU. They work so well together.

    Interesting archeological thriller
This story snagged you from page one. So many buried secrets and conspiracy. Loved the main character Remi. She got herself into more trouble. Can’t wait to read the next book.

    Readable entertaining
The editing needs more work. The characters are well laid and the plot seems to twist off the subject or maybe the subject is not the intended plot?

    Work of Art
This was a fast- paced mystery! I like the partnering of Daniel and Remi, with their varying skills snd personalities. I look forward to reading more in the series.

Art thefts and murders; art history professor and FBI agent. All interesting to me!
I love to find books related to the world of art. International art theft and investigations add an intriguing layer to a murder mystery.

Remi gets right into the middle of another killing the FBI’s agent Daniel has requested her help with. He has the necessary FBI talents but he needs her art history knowledge to help him to solve the case.

Something different than regular murder mysteries of course this book has some murders in it. This book keeps you thinking what would happen next.

Completely hooked on this Author. Great imagination and a very skilled writer.

Spelling mistakes and inserted words that did not belong. Repetition of random facts. These detract from the storyline for me. Mystery itself was okay.

  13. Father Ted

The devil was in the detail. literally, which dragged the pace of the story to a standstill. Not for me.
