    Completely satisfied.
Vastly informative and provides important, key information.

Almost More Than You Want to Know
There’s good news and bad news. The good news is that this is a very detailed and highly informative look at the life and death of Dorothy Kilgallen. The author has footnotes and video clips and supporting material throughout the books, and references to other websites and sources that the reader can explore independently. As someone who remembered Dorothy, I found the story fascinating, and I learned a lot I had not known previously. The bad news? For all the detail and all the research the author does not give us a conclusion about Dorothy’s death or the missing portfolio of material she had gathered about the death of JFK and Lee Harvey Oswald. Of course, no one else has managed to put forward hard evidence or a provable case.He does, however, provide a wealth of information from which the reader can create his or her own theories. He examines possible candidates for the death (which most have agreed was not suicide or accidental) and lays out the pros and cons for each candidate. So if you are looking for answers, this is not the book. If, however, you want to know pretty much everything there is to know – I can recommend this highly.

    Loved this book.
I normally only read a few non-fiction books a year, so when I learned there were books about Dorothy Kilgallen’s death (I’m gonna say this now my gran was four when what’s my line came out but my granddad and I would watch old game shows when I was sick sometimes. So I knew who she was.) I recently looked her up and learned she died so me in my weird ways went to look up books and found this and found it quite intriguing, learning what led to her death, potential reasons to how she passed (drugs and alcohol by potential murder?!?!?) Or why? (Cause she made more than enough enemies.) It was well written and there’s another one by this author I may read! 5/5 Amazon/Goodreads/Fable!

Lots of conspiracy, not very believable
I enjoyed the early part of the book very much with its portrait of the subject’s early life and career. The depiction of What’s My Line was detailed and fun to read. As the book developed its conspiracy theories about her death, it became much less believable.

I couldn’t put the book down once I started reading the reporter was investigating the JFK assassination to ascertain who was involved . She was found dead in her bedroom and the feeling is that it was a homicide and it was linked to what she had uncovered and was about to print.

    It’s a book, I read it!
