Grumpy vs Sunshine neighbours
This small-town romance was a great read. The twin mistake, the grumpy neighbour and the sunshine newcomer drew me.While the story initially unfolded at a leisurely pace, the depth of character development was truly engaging. Knox’s emotional vulnerability, his struggle to resist his feelings for Naomi, and the introduction of her niece Waylon, all contributed to a heartwarming narrative that was hard to resist.I am excited to read the other two books in the series.Reasons I enjoyed this book:Easy-to-read, Entertaining, Funny, Happily Ever After, Twisted, Wonderful characters

Enjoyable Story and Great Characters
An enjoyable book with some steamy, suspenseful, and funny scenes. The book was over 500 pages so it was a bit intimidating to pick up; however, you fly through the pages and I found it hard to put down. I ended up reading the entire book in just a few days. The writing is thoughtful and descriptive enough without being overly verbose. I have read another book by the same author that was just as good, “Maggie Moves On.” I would recommend both books for your summer reading!

Great read
I finally read my 1st Lucy Score book. I’ve had her on my tbr for ages. This extra long romcom was not what I expected. Knox had me wanting to strangle him for a good chunk of the book. Poor Naomi couldn’t catch a break. Screw Tina. Waylay is the coolest and strongest 11 year old I’ve ever read. I loved the family dynamics and small town vibes. Everyone all in your business is a microtrope I love. While I feel this book was 150 pages too long I did really enjoy it. The characters all had a lot of depth to them.

But I kept waiting until I had no distractions to read it!I laughed super hard, I loved the town, the secondary characters and I already have a crush on Nash & Lucien.The girl gang is aspirational and I wanna work in the Honky Tonk, with the best girl mates ever.Knox is a layered character, with the perfect balance of original and different background but with the sense of reality. Not OTT, making it eye-rolling incredible but in a mix that actually makes sense.Naomi is also very interesting, yet super funny and with the best BFF in the world. Also, her Sloane addition was cool.Anyway, jumping straight into the next one!
