This book was perfect for my 6th grade reluctant reader
This book was perfect for my 6th grade reluctant reader. He loves sports, so the topic was high-interest to him and the reading level is easy enough that it wasn’t a struggle (like a more adult book would be). He got this book for Christmas and read it within a few days. It is a nice biography, and also includes interesting facts about baseball. This series is excellent for late elementary/early middle school aged kids.
